When my friend texted me to tell me that she was pregnant, I was overjoyed for her. This was particularly wonderful news, given this was a rainbow baby. A baby her and her partner have been trying for, for years. What followed the pregnancy news was also very exciting! She wanted to remodel her bathroom and have it ready in 8 months, right in time for the baby. I was nervous-- we all know, construction and babies are known to have very unpredictable timelines. The challenge made this bathroom even more inspiring to work on. My clients wanted a "zen" bathroom retreat. We created a soothing color palette, ditched the tub for a large shower and added customized storage for this growing family. If you're wondering, YES, the bathroom was done in time for the baby. :)
