Emmy did a great job giving me advice on re-staging my home. She asked pertinent questions and discussed many options to include my personal style and current possessions. Would recommend her to all!
We consulted with Emmy to redesign and redecorate our early 1900’s apartment. Emmy came to our humble home excited to help us even within the constrains of a rental. The first time we got together we met for over an hour chatting and discussing our style and ideas for improving the space. Emmy then sent us a bid with different choices for her level of support. We chose the plan that best fit our budget, which included Emmy coming back for a second meeting at our home with a custom made style book with ideas and plans for each “room” in the house. Afterwards she sent us a list of all of the items with links for DIY and where we could purchase the items. As we move forward with our plan, Emmy has made it clear that we are welcome to ask questions and she is excited to see our plan put into action this summer. Emmy is warm, kind, and of course talented in design. We can’t recommend her enough for your project whether big or small, rental or home-owned. Thank you Emmy!
I had always wanted a comfortable cozy home to relax in and entertain but never had the time or creativity to accomplish this goal. Emmy was an amazing listener and was able to hear my goals, hopes, and needs for my house. Emmy integrated key components of my personality and history into amazingly thoughtful and artistic details. When I walked in to see the finished product, I finally felt at home.

I couldn’t be happier with the entire process of working with Emmy and the results of our new bar. She is such a hard worker and passionate in ensuring that she explained each detail and was so easy to work with. She was also able to consult on adjustments and other recommendation whenever it was needed. I highly recommend her in any project! Please come by and see the results.
Emilia was a thoughtful designer when we worked together to design a commercial public market space (Portland Mercado). The goal was to capture the vibrancy and diversity of Latin American heritage while creating a flexible space with color and furniture choice. Emilia worked quickly and offered several different options on a limited budget. Ultimately the market feels cozy and connected while the individual retail spaces are allowed to create their own character. We would absolutely recommend Emilia for commercial work in the future!
Emmy was contracted to design the Youth Playroom at our shelter. In creating the plan; she was intentional about understanding the function of the space as well as our vision for it. When we were unclear about our vision; she worked to give suggestions of directions we could go in. She worked within our budget to find pieces that were functional yet aesthetically pleasing. Throughout the entire process, Emmy was professional and communicated consistently to ensure we were satisfied with her services.
